This is part of my ninjago au / rewrite were Zane actually dies in season 3 after overusing his powers and freezing to death bc he’s not a nindroid in this version. Kai, still being the leader of the group and only slowly getting replaced by Lloyd, blames himself for Zanes death bc he feels responsible for his team and friends (having to raise Nya on his own and having to be his own parent and stuff). Cole tries to comfort him (lavashipping I guess? Or just bros supporting each other, however u like it)
(Spoiler after that night Kai leaves them (Jay has already left at this point), shortly after Cole leaves as well)
I hope yall suffered as much as I did making this (I have no idea how to draw creepy stuff so frozen zane looks a little wonky) :)
